Perhaps, Francois Urbin Dubois really was working with a land-surveyor team for the Government, and was never married, and died from an occupational hazzard along the trail. It is not too far fetched to believe, that western pioneers died along trail movements and perhaps was buried along with everyone else on the Frontier. We may never really know the whole story, but if Celestin is the nephew of Francois Urbin DuBois, Etienne's son, and was residing on his estate as a care-taker of his property, then perhaps, Francois Urbin DuBois also made him his natural Heir. His Sole Heir.
